Bridie - Na Inzo Founder & Creative Director
Bridie's journey into the creative industry all started in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso in 1996. It was at the International Art and Craft Fair (SIAO), where she was taken by her mother that she got her first exposure to the vibrant and colourful African textiles and unique craftsmanship.
Born to a Congolese mother, an avid African tribal art collector and textile designer, Bridie was inspired by her mother's creativity and love for other cultures.
Her influences to create Na Inzo also came from her
french roots and life in Pays Basque, a beautiful region in the South of
France, that is well known for its long tradition of artisanal home linen
production.
Flora - Na Inzo Co-Owner & Managing Director
I am Flora Mavoungou, deeply passionate about subtle elegance and refined comfort, and I joined Na Inzo to contribute to the vision of transforming every home into a sanctuary of softness and beauty. I have always believed that true beauty lies in the details.
After more than fifteen years supporting development and entrepreneurship projects across Africa, I chose to place this experience at the service of a more intimate passion: creating interiors where elegance meets serenity.
Etta - Production & Client Relations Coordinator
Etta’s path into home décor is rooted in her passion for design and refined craftsmanship. At Na Inzo, she bridges creativity with precision, overseeing the entire journey from design concept to finished product.
Her role spans production, merchandising, and quality control, where she ensures that every creation not only meets our brand’s standards of excellence.
A celebration of African Textiles
Africais a continent rich in textile heritage, offering an exceptional variety of both contemporary and traditional fabrics.
From handwoven masterpieces like Kita and Baoulé cloth to iconic wax prints such as Kitenge, and the intricate hand-printed Batiks of West Africa, each textile tells a story of culture and savoir faire.
At Na Inzo, our creative process begins with the careful sourcing of high-quality fabrics that captivate through striking patterns, bold, original colour combinations and textures.
A spark of inspiration for our designs, as these beautiful and character-rich textiles inspire every design we craft.
Our design process
At Na Inzo, every textile creation begins with a thoughtfully sketched vision for all our creations
From modern and graphic to soft and floral, our soft furnishing designs are imagined to suit a variety of interiors and display settings. A generously sized Bouaké handwoven cushion makes a striking statement on a wooden armchair, while a coordinated Ngong set—featuring assorted cushions and a throw—adds warmth and texture to a nomadic-style bedroom.
Our aesthetic is eclectic, drawing inspiration from the organic shapes of nature, African tribal symbols, and the cultural richness woven into each fabric.
Tailoring
At Na Inzo, the magic takes shape in the hands of our talented tailors, who transform initial sketches into beautifully crafted cushions. Whether we’re embracing clean minimalism or enhancing designs with distinctive touches—such as Akan gold weights, tassels, or pompoms—we delight in blending patterns, colors, and textures to express styles ranging from boho and modern to classic and elegant.
This final stage in our creative journey is where detail truly matters. Every stitch, every finish is carefully perfected to ensure that each piece carries the signature Na Inzo refinement and soul.
