The Designer

Bridie's journey into the creative industry all started in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso in 1996. It was at the International Art and Craft Fair (SIAO), where she was taken by her mother that she got her first exposure to the vibrant and colourful African textiles and unique craftsmanship.

Born to a Congolese mother, an avid African tribal art collector and textile designer, Bridie was inspired by her mother's creativity and love for other cultures.

Her influences to create Na Inzo also came from her french roots and life in Pays Basque, a beautiful region in the South of France, that is well known for its long tradition of artisanal home linen production.
